Wendy Willis

My earliest memories are of the extraordinary sights, scents, sounds, and beauty of Mexico. As the daughter of missionaries, I spent my childhood immersed in a vibrant and rich culture. When I left Mexico to attend college in the United States, I knew my experience was uniquely special - a gift, of sorts. When I teach Spanish to my students, it’s like passing along that gift. Today, I am a second generation home school mom living in a beach town in Florida with my husband and two boys. My desire for my own children and for all of my students is that, by overcoming language barriers, we can be more connected to each other. Furthermore, I have seen how learning Spanish and learning about other cultures improves a student's whole education and academic success. And, well, that really is a gift!
